Structured Project Team Reflections

Structured group reflections have occurred roughly every six months, although more frequent unstructured refection’s occurred during monthly meetings and other project team interactions.

The structured reflections follow the questions listed in the link below. Each member of the team is asked to individually rank (1-10) the team performance against each question, then provide a reason for this ranking. The group then meets to discuss their scores and the reason. The Reflexive Monitor records the conversations. At the end of the dialogue several key actions may be identified.

The questions are designed to explore how the group functions, including:

  • Capturing group learning
  • Reflections on group process
  • Reflections on what we have done well and why
  • Reflections on what could have been done differently
  • Reflections on what barriers and opportunities exist
